Our Director, Phil Ireland, gave up his "proper job" with the Trust House Forte Airport Services Group in 1988 and started PJI Contract Packers. Working from just a garage and trailer, PJI started life repacking and recycling seatback materials for British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Continental Airlines.

From there PJI progressed to helping a new manufacturer of Motor Accessories, 'Metro Products', with the assembly and packing of innovative motoring and gardening products.

Fast gaining a reputation for being able to deliver on time and on price, PJI continued to grow with help being offered to the print and plastics industries.

Now with more than 40 staff, PJI is able to offer help to any industry requiring repetitive manual labour with a flexible approach. PJI now assist a wide variety of companies around the south east.
